Fire Service Instructor I
This NFPA 1041-aligned program empowers fire service experts to create and conduct powerful training. ProBoard certification exams are held in person in Calgary, Alberta, on a quarterly basis. Please check the Master Schedule for upcoming dates to finalize your certification path.
Target Audience
Current or recent firefighters who deliver in-house training and seeking industry-standard instructor qualifications.
Professional Prerequisites: NFPA 1041 Level I
No prior NFPA certifications are required for enrollment.
Service Experience
Open to current or recent fire service professionals. You should have active involvement in a municipal or industrial fire department and a solid understanding of operational safety standards.
Training Exposure
Candidates should have exposure to basic training delivery or in-house company training. This course builds on your existing knowledge of demonstrating skills and providing feedback to peers.
