FIREFIGHTER INTERVIEW PREPARATION
Find out what happens when the questions are no longer predictable.
You can prepare answers for weeks and still not know how they hold up when somebody else controls the interview. The Mock Interview gives you one realistic run where you have to listen, think, choose your evidence and answer in real time.
- 30 minutes
- By video
- One private run
“Reasonable price. Great information and assistance.”
What It Is
This is an assessment, not a coaching program.
Come prepared. We run the interview.
Then we tell you what held up, what broke down and what I would work on before the real one.
If the issue is answer structure, evidence selection, communication or how you perform under pressure, you should leave knowing it.
Northline field note
A polished answer in your notes does not tell me much.
I want to know what answer comes out when you have ten seconds to think and nobody is helping you.
Eligibility
Who this is for
This is a good fit if:
- you already understand the basics of firefighter interviews
- you have been practising your answers
- you want one realistic cold run before the real interview
- you want an experienced second set of eyes on your performance
Choosing
Who should use Interview Intensive instead
If you already know you need coaching, do not use a mock interview as a substitute for it. Interview Intensive is the better fit when you need time to build your answers, improve your evidence and practice the corrections.
If You Have Already Completed the Real Interview
Use Interview Debrief instead. Mock Interview is for preparation before the interview. Interview Debrief is for reviewing what happened after it.
Mock Interview
One private mock interview. $150 CAD plus applicable GST/HST.
30 minutes, by video.
Northline cannot predict whether a department will pass or hire you. We can give you a realistic interview, watch what happens and tell you what I would correct before the next one.
