Who this is for

  • Pass your fitness test. CPAT, the University of Alberta Physical Fitness Test or your department's own, planned back from your test date.
  • Stay strong and healthy on the job. Training and eating that fit shift work, broken sleep and long calls.
  • Come back stronger after an injury. Physiotherapists often send clients to a trainer once treatment wraps up. We rebuild your strength for full duty, alongside your physio or doctor.
  • Build strength or physique. Get stronger, add muscle or change how you look, on a plan that fits your week.

Most clients come to us with more than one goal, and we work on all of them together. Our coaches are certified personal trainers and performance nutrition coaches, led by a working firefighter and advanced care paramedic.

Questions before you start?

Anything else, email info@northlineemergency.com.

Who will coach me?

A Northline coach. Our coaches are certified personal trainers and performance nutrition coaches, and coaching is led by a working firefighter and advanced care paramedic.

Do I need a gym?

You can train at a gym or at home. We build your program around the equipment you have.

How do we stay in touch?

Mostly by email. You send a check-in each week and can email questions in between, and your coach replies within two business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Alberta statutory holidays). Your coach may also call or set up a video chat when that would help.

How does billing work?

You pay for your first month here, at $399 CAD plus GST/HST. After that, Northline sends you a monthly invoice for the same amount.

How do I cancel?

Email us with 30 days' notice. Coaching continues through the notice period, and your final invoice covers only the days you haven't already paid for.
