Managing Expanding and Complex Incidents
ICS 300 develops the knowledge and decision-making skills required to manage incidents that extend beyond the initial response phase.
Participants examine the operational and planning demands of expanding incidents, including command organization, incident objectives, operational periods, resource management, Unified Command, command and general staff responsibilities, and the Incident Action Planning process.
The course emphasizes practical application, group discussion, incident documentation and scenario-based problem solving rather than passive theory alone.
